Bud, bud, bud, bud… bud, bud, bud, bud…. bud, bud, bud, bud… bud, bud, bud, bud.

The holiday season is the perfect time of year for any stoner to sit back, spark a doob, and enjoy all the holly jolly lights around them. That being said, getting dazed and confused is just one of your many holiday traditions that’s worth celebrating year after year…well, also day after day but we’re feeling festive. Another annual custom that’s perfect for any marijuana enthusiast is a Christmas themed movie night. So, why not cuddle up, smoke some herb and enjoy these weed friendly Christmas movies.

A very Harold and Kumar Christmas

If there is one movie that stands out above the rest when it comes to stoner festivity, it’s the classic film A very Harold and Kumar Christmas. Not only is there at least one weed reference in every scene throughout the movie, but even the bud strains were given holiday friendly names — Winter Wonder-weed, Rudolph the Red-Eyed Reindeer and Kwanzaa Cookout. With everything from Christmas trees getting lit, the ultimate abominable snow monster trip, a Christmas musical number with Neil Patrick Harris and an emergency operation on Santa, this topsy-turvy weed friendly Christmas movie had everything to get you in the mood for an evening of hot-boxing.

Bad Santa

‘Tis the season to watch festive flicks but it’s always the season to get stoned. Bad Santa would be another weed friendly Christmas movie that you could add to your holiday binge-watch list. Although there aren’t any weed references in this film, the wild lifestyle choices of Billy Bob Thornton posing as a mall Santa will give you the holiday giggles… that is if your bud hasn’t already.

The Night Before

Pretty much the cannabis-themed version of the classic film A Christmas Carol, The Night Before is a weed friendly Christmas movie that features a cannabis dealer named Mr. Green (oh, the irony). He plays the bud-friendly role of the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future for a trio of chronic tokers. Did we mention that this film has Seth Rogen in it?
